Oh.. the pain of stupidity! I lost my Camera
Posted in Family, Photography on June 17, 2008 by MatthewIt was a late flight with 2 kids.. June 2nd 10:55pm at PDX Flight 2624 on Horizon Air. I left my camera bag complete with Canon Rebel XT, My Video camera and a few hundred in extras. About halfway home in the van I realized my mistake and thought for a moment about human nature.. I’m not getting my camera back. I have let family and the nice people at Horizon Air give me hope. It would be silly not to go through the steps to get it back from lost and found if someone turned it in. It’s a little extra painful to know that it had to be a Horizon Air employee that kept it. When we travel we always let every one else on the plane get off first.. so only the flight crew was still on the plane when I left the camera behind. I did have some pictures and video that can not be replaced.. but I’m also thinking about the pictures and video of my kids that I can’t take in the near future because I lost the camera and video camera. It makes me sick.. and money is more than just a little tight now. It will probably take me years to replace what I lost.
